I was awakened this morning at 10 AM -- this is a Sunday after all -- by my good friend Jason, who, in his infinite wisdom, decided to rope me into helping him with some gardening work. As I am not the best first thing without a caffine fix, I groggily agreed and after a couple of mugs of coffee -- that were more suited to be eaten with a spoon than drank -- I staggered a few houses down to see how my legendary skills at landscaping and horticultural knowledge were going to be put to the test (my mother will laugh uproariously at that little white skill-set lie).
Instead, I was given a shovel and we dug out a large section of his back lawn.
So, now come Sunday night, I find that I have no mobility in my left shoulder, two burst blisters on my left hand, and my head only seems able to turn to the right. This speaks volumes for my fitness levels; I think it is time I started running again. I have no excuse: it has not rained here for nearly a month.
I need to find a better excuse.

I just finished editing The Voyage. It turned out rather well and I'm quite chuffed about it. I'll just do that funky post-processing normalisation thingie (technical terms) and it should be uploaded to the web site within the next couple of days, work permitting -- I'm back in Dublin tomorrow morning ... early, early, early. so watch this space -- well, watch the podcast page. Watching this space will not be all that illuminating.

And there are a few photos I took of Tokyo over on my Google Picasa site. I'll upload some choice New Zealand pics when I've sorted through them all ... there are over a thousand of them.
